Generic Equivalent of FeraMAX
Feramax (Polysaccharide-Iron complex) is an oral iron supplement containing a patented polydextrose iron complex. It’s used to treat and prevent iron-deficiency anemia. FeraMAX is vegan certified. Unlike traditional iron salts, Feramax is non-ionic and allows the iron to remain intact as it passes through the stomach, reducing gastrointestinal side effects. Avoid consuming iron with foods that may interfere with its absorption, such as milk, tea, coffee, and dietary fiber. FeraMAX is taken as a single dose with or without meals.
